Bobbuilt is a small, remote-friendly team building the platform a multi-billion-dollar industry should already have. We hire generalists who can ship, own outcomes end-to-end, and sit with the customer until the product is right. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you — even when we don’t have a public role open.
How we work
- Remote-first across US time zones, with quarterly in-person offsites
- Weekly ship cadence — every engineer ships to production their first week
- Customer time required for every role, including non-customer-facing ones
- Async by default, with two short daily standups for active workstreams
- Small team, no middle layers, real equity
What we look for
- Bias toward shipping — you’d rather get something in front of a customer than design it for three more weeks
- Strong written communication — async-first teams require it
- Comfort with ambiguity — we’re still figuring out a lot
- High ownership — you take the bug, you take the fix, you take the follow-up
- Operator instincts — you think in unit economics, not story points
Open roles
We post roles as we open them. There are no active public listings today, but we’re always taking warm intros for senior engineers (full-stack and platform), product designers with strong systems sense, and growth operators with paid acquisition chops.

Hiring process
- 30-minute intro call with the hiring manager
- Take-home or live work sample sized to under 4 hours
- Two technical or craft interviews with the team
- Final conversation with a founder, plus references
- Written offer within 48 hours of the final round
